About Us

Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 143-bed skilled nursing facility nestled in the beautiful mountains of Harlan Kentucky. Harlan County is home to the Poke Sallet Festival, the Black Bear Festival, Kingdom Come State Park, Martins Fork Lake, Black Mountain Recreational Park.

Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center is a beautiful facility with a home-like environment. We provide both long term and short term care. We have an outstanding therapeutic rehabilitation program with staff dedicated to helping residents reach their highest potential. Many of our residents are able to return home after an illness or accident with just a few short weeks of rehabilitation.

Our Activities staff is always working to keep residents active with many fun-filled activities. Some activities include arts & crafts, cooking, movies, bingo, bowling, karaoke, dancing, cook-outs and ice cream socials to name a few. We also have various performers, groups and local talent who provide entertainment for our residents and staff. (Everyone enjoys a visit from “Elvis.”)

Our goal is to provide the best care possible for our residents while making them feel at home. We not only believe in quality care, we believe in a quality life. We invite you to call to schedule a tour today!
