About Us
Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 143 bed skilled nursing facility nestled in the beautiful mountains of Harlan Kentucky. Harlan County is home to the Poke Sallet Festival, the Black Bear Festival, Kingdom Come State Park, Martins Fork Lake, Black Mountain Recreational Park and was home to the late Cawood Ledford, formerly known as the voice of the UK Wildcats.
Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center is a beautiful facility with a home-like environment. We provide both long term and short term care. We have an outstanding therapy program with staff dedicated in helping residents reach their highest potential. Many of our residents are able to return home in just a few short weeks.
Our Activities staff is always working to keep residents active with many fun-filled activities. Some activities include arts & crafts, cooking, movies, bingo, bowling, karaoke, dancing, cook-outs and ice cream socials to name a few. We also have various performers, groups and local talent who provide entertainment for our residents and staff. One of the residents’ favorite entertainers is the Elvis impersonator.
Our goal is to provide the best care possible for our residents while making them feel at home. We not only believe in quality care, we believe in a quality life. We are very pleased that you visited our website and would like to invite you to come out and visit our facility.
